He has successfully represented clients at the trial and highest appellate levels of the federal and state judicial and administrative systems. These successes have been achieved in Colorado and elsewhere around the country, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He has also acted as lead, local, and antitrust counsel in national, regional, and state class action type lawsuits. Mr. McMahon also has extensive experience advising and representing physicians, medical groups and other health care providers and entities regarding antitrust, competition, discipline, licenses, and privileges in internal, state and federal administrative and judicial proceedings. In a prior life, Mr. McMahon was a member of the USAF JAG Corps, where he served as an Area, and then as a Circuit, Defense Counsel with the USAF Trial Judiciary. A Michigan native, he obtained his B.A. "With High Honor" from Michigan State University, where he was a Merit Scholar and member of the Honors College. Mr. McMahon earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Michigan Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif.
